The phenomenon of ink delamination in pet printing film is usually related to three factors
① Reduce the solvent residue of printing substrate. When excessive residual solvents cause ink delamination and transfer, reducing the residual solvent in the printing process, the transfer phenomenon will be reduced or disappeared.
② Prevent excessive corona treatment. When the corona treatment of PET film is excessive, the surface of the film will be seriously damaged, resulting in ink transfer phenomenon. Therefore, when the ink transfer phenomenon occurs, the surface corona treatment of PET film should be tested. If there is a problem, the surface treatment should be adjusted to reduce the corona treatment strength.
③ Apply ink with good matching with adhesive. Improper selection of ink type is also one of the common reasons for ink transfer. For example, the use of chlorinated polypropylene ink will produce ink layer transfer, such as improper application of ink, polyester, nylon special ink can be used to solve the problem of ink transfer.
In addition to the phenomenon of ink transfer, ink edge change or ink "dissolution" will occasionally occur in the solvent-free composite process, which is mainly due to the low molecular weight of solvent-free adhesives and ink molecules close, resulting in the phenomenon of mutual solubility. In case of this phenomenon, it is recommended to contact the well-known ink manufacturers and select the ink with good adaptability and no mutual solubility with the adhesive.
